Me & Mountains started in early 2008 in a basement in New Carlisle, Ohio. After learning and forgetting a handful of songs, they began working on tunes that would later become their debut EP. From there, they played venues throughout the Dayton area in 2009 before finally buckling down to record in January/February of 2010 with Darryl Robbins of Fictionband Mechanics fame. The result was a 6 song disc of the best the band could muster thus far.

As of fall 2010, the band is returning to the studio to record its first proper full length recording.
